The Madrid women’s derby took place this weekend, with Real Madrid facing Atletico Madrid at the Alfredo di Stefano stadium. Ending in a great victory for Madrid with the final scoreboard 1-0.
This experience was particularly special being able to experience it as photographer. Being right by the all the action on the pitch, you see up close and first hand any tackles, fouls, all the action and of course an unexpected goal from Madrid.
Needing to constantly be watching with extra attention at all times and almost anticipating what will happen next in the game to make sure you get the perfect shot.
