Other than the classic Madrid derby, tonight we had another derby with the team from Rayo. This derby ended with another win by the hosts, Real Madrid 2-1 on La Liga Matchday 22.
The first half starting off with a yellow card from Diaz didn’t deter Madrid especially with Vini’s strike in the first quarter already. Despite Madrid having majority of possession only one goal stands before half time.
The second half kicks off with an equaliser from Rayo bringing the scoreboard now to 1-1. With both teams pushing for a win with only 10 minutes left, a late penalty for Mbappe saves Madrid who once again take the lead. With 13 minutes of added extra time, Rayo is reduced to only 10 men when a second yellow card is awarded.
Despite both sides efforts, the final whilst blows and a 2-1 victory is awarded to Real Madrid.
