Ahead of the return leg of el Clasico taking place this Sunday, May 10th at Camp Nou, FC Barcelona face Real Madrid. Both teams having faced each other initially back in October 26 which ended in victory for Los Blancos after a 2-1 win. With a goal from Mbappe and Bellingham in the first half already, Madrid now surpassing their wins over their Spanish rivals with 106 times. Barcelona is close behind however with 105 wins and 52 draws in total.

Looking at La Liga now, Barcelona is currently number one with 88 points, Madrid second still 11 points behind even after securing 3 points from their last win against Espanyol. This will be a tough match that Madrid need to win, Barcelona however have won every single home game this LaLiga season and are on a 10-match LaLiga winning streak.

Following the press conference ahead of the game, Courtois will now return from injury after keeping only one clean sheet in their last 8 matches. Madrid are still missing many key players such as, Guler, Rodrigo, Militao and now Carvajal, with still an unknown Mbappe.

El Clásico clash Barcelona vs Madrid, this sunday at 9pm determine Madrid’s chances at still winning this seasons LaLiga title.
